ARTWORK PREPARATION TIPS - WHY BORDER SHOULD BE AVOIDED IN YOUR ARTWORK?

One of the most common mistakes to have while preparing artwork is to include a border in the design. Whilst the artwork is looking gorgeous on your computer screen, it could become an utter disappointment when the print product is completed.

There is a market tolerance level of 1-3mm during the trimming process. Therefore, any slight variance might cause the design to look off the center. This is what we commonly term as the “uneven cut” issue. This is especially obvious on small print products such as business cards, member cards, stickers, price tag  and the like.
